Want to host your own virtual race?

The Final Surge Virtual Racing service allows you to create races of any distance in the sports of running, cycling, swimming, triathlon and duathlon. This includes virtual stage races (example: a 3-day event that includes a 10k run on the first day, a 5k run on the second day, and a half marathon on the third day). These can be done on a single day, or you can choose to allow participants to complete the race over a range of days. You can be as creative as you want!

What is included?

In addition to a branded race registration and results page, your participants can download the Final Surge apps and use the training platform for free. You can choose to enable the Final Surge social wall and/or message boards for each race so that participants can socialize with each other. You can also choose to collect the shipping address from your race participants when they sign up so that you can mail them medals, t-shirts, and other SWAG you decide to offer. Final Surge does not provide medals and/or t-shirts for races.

Can I have sponsors?

Yes, the race registration and results pages allow you to include sponsors. You will also have access to participant email addresses to send them more information and discounts from any sponsors that you would like to promote.

How much does it cost? Can I use a different race registration service or bypass payments for my registrants?

Final Surge will host your race sign-up, results and payment pages. You can charge any amount for race registration. Final Surge will keep $5 per race registration plus 4% of each transaction. Final Surge will then transfer you the race registration fees at the conclusion of the race.

If you would like to use a different race registration service to collect payment (or bypass a registration service) and not use the Final Surge payment pages, you can pre-pay for blocks of registrants at $5 per registrant. Final Surge will issue unlock codes for the registrants you have paid for that you must send to each race participant so that they can come to your branded Final Surge race page and unlock the virtual race in their account.

Pre-paying for registrants and bypassing additional payment pages is a great option for clubs and organizations who want to cover the cost of the virtual race for their participants.

Is there API integration for my race?

Depending on the size of your race and the amount of races you host, Final Surge may do API integration with your organization. Customization is done on a case by case basis.
